      This section explores ethical issues and questions around sharing research results by publishing in journals, books, conferences and working as an expert. Sharing results is an essential part of research work for both the individual and the society. The ethical issues are often complicated and have a great importance to parties involved. 

      Learning outcomes for this section include an ability to:

      1. recognise and analyse key ethical questions in sharing research results in different ways
      2. recognise and understand key ethical principles guiding how to share research results
      3. understand the Finnish RCR guidelines around plagiarism, authorship and communication
      4. identify rights and responsibilities as an author and colleague when sharing results
      5. understand how ethical decisions and choices influence the research community in relation to peer review and authorship.
