Topic outline

  • Open Science and Research is often divided into three different elements and Open Access (OA) is the best known of the three (others are Open Data and Open Research Process). Open Access is about increasing the opportunity for everyone to freely access research outputs.

This section contains lessons on what is Open Access, how you can increase access to your own research and importantly, why you should do it.

The section also broadens the view on Open Access by the lessons on Predatory Journals as they influence the way we share research outputs as well as Open Peer Review, as that is part of increasing the openness of how we share and validate research results.
