  • Open Research Process is the third core element in Open Science and Research. Traditionally research has shared results and other outputs, while the process of reaching them has remained closed to others apart from the researchers themselves. Opening up the research process is about sharing all or some parts of doing research - choosing hypothesis, developing methodology, collecting and analysing data and finally sharing the outcomes. It is also about opening up the opportunities where possible for individuals outside the traditional research community to participate in the research process.

This section looks into both small opportunities for you to start opening up your research process as well as how you may wish to participate in research work of others. Finally the section looks into science communication and how we can share our work in multiple different ways.
