      Open Education is an umbrella term under which different understandings of Open Education can be accommodated. It goes beyond Open Educational Resources and other open research outputs to embrace strategic decisions, teaching methods, collaboration between individuals and institutions, recognition of non-formal learning and different ways of delivering content.

        • be able to define and describe how pedagogical solutions can be used to open your education.

    • One Open Educational Practice is to recognise researchers', teachers' or other personnel members' competence and make it visible. You can get a national Open Badge by studying this Open Education MOOC and compliting the Open Education Badge Test successfully. The Test is organiseg and Badge granted by the national Coordination of Open Science; Federation of Finnish Learned Societies.

      It is recommended that organisations recognise participants' competence if the Open Education MOOC is used, for example, as personnel training.
